So most of my trainers, for example Dying Light, will freeze and become unresponsive if I click the Instructions tab and try to use the mouse wheel to scroll the text. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?
That is definitely odd, Open your task manager and try it again and see if anything causes your memory to spike really high.
Performance tab then click the bottom where it says resource monitor in blue and go to that windows memory tab to see what is on top.
Also make sure there is no active or live scanning or monitoring from any security software.

Thanks for the quick responses. Unfortunately those steps did not work. The issue continues, I even tried the same trainer file on a different PC and got the same behavior. .NET is also up-to-date. No events of any kind are logged in Windows either. I wish I had more to go on, which is why I hesitated in making this post. But I was very curious if anyone else had seen this before. I've had this problem for a while, years probably, but only posted about it now.
For now I guess just open the readme.txt and use that for looking up the info, that's what I do and just drag it over to a second monitor. I'll ask the rest of the gang and maybe we can come up with a solution. Any system specs you could jot down would be great.
