It's funded but clearly the game isn't slated to release on Steam until August..

Also both my browser AND STEAM report this when I try to go to the game development website

and then blocks me..

um, this might be a game that we look at when they actually start selling it on STEAM, as opposed to some sketchy site in alpha... one has to wonder why steam won't let them put the alpha on steam yet..

Yes the game does not relase untill August, but you can pre-order if from their website, buy doing that you get to play the Alpha now (if you pick the higher tier). Once the game is out on steam anyone who has purschsed from thier site will recive a steam copy.

They said on one of thier social accounts that they chose not to go early acsess on steam and insted to only offer the aplha from their website on the higher tier. The reasioning was launching on steam early acsess would most likely have more people getting it and playing the unfinished product & not leaving feedback/bug reports. So they chose to do it from thier website, beliving that only thoes who wanted to buy the hgiher tier would be more likely to provide feedback & bug reports.

As for the errors/warning your got thats strange i have not seen anyone else report that, and myself & 2 friends purchsed it with no issues. What browser & antivirues do you use? maybe its been oversensative?

There is no need for energy which is hard to look. Just get food instead of bothering about energy.

Steam says about that almost on every page which comes out from its webstore.

Game currently is in STANDALONE and DRM-free status but in future it will be on steam.
