According to this poster, you need an internet connection to get to the Main menu and for some reason to even save your game locally.

But no, that's actually false. You can play a match or tournament offline and career is 100% against cpu players. If that's the only reason, you need to check again and confirm this to be true.

Yeah, sorry if I accidentally used language that can be construed as demanding. But what's with your attitude? You think you're impressing the site owners attacking me for that?
Anyway, please reconsider because the premise of retiring this is incorrect. It has more single player modes than not. You've made plenty of trainers for games that simply had to be always connected.
