Guys, if I'm asking someone to check their PMs it's just because I'm asking to provide specific information about this issue, a savegame and the savegame location so Caliber can take a look into this without having to play the game for hours to run across it.

It might be a certain faction you play, a certain battle, at a certain time in the game, etc. So if you experience the same black screen issue here's what I ask for:

Provide a savegame with exact and easily repeatable instructions so we can reproduce the issue

Provide the location of the savegame, what situation it is in the game, what trainer option to choose that is not working, what DLC or mods are installed (if any) and anything else you could add -> write this in your new post where you upload your save file

You have to zip/rar the save file before uploading it in the trainer thread

The * option (modifying max # of units) seems to affect the AI also. I modified it to 50 and suddenly the AI was running around with armies at 23, 26, etc. I had to put it back down to 20.

Is there a way to limit it to just the player and not the AI too?

No. It's a static Number the game uses.

You can likely add your units to make big armies, then reset it back to a smaller number before ending turn.

Before I check this, can someone let me know if they just run the game with no trainer, then LOAD this savegame, then go into naval battle if the black screen occurs without the trainer even being on or even running?
