Or is this just Norton?
I have Norton configured to exclude the work folder of cheathappens (in "Users" and also the folder containing all my trainers. Nevertheless, suddenly none of them work today.
The cheathappens website appears to be online.

Do you use Norton as AV only or do you use some sort of Internet Suite with a firewall portion too? Did you check Norton's logs?
Good for health, bad for education.

I only use Norton as AV; I'm not sure what an "internet suite" would be, so I guess no to that question.
Yes, I checked Norton's logs to see if it said something like "program wanted to access the internet" so I could maybe fix it from there, but there is evidently no record of Norton blocking access to the internet, at least in the half hour I've been attempting this.

Have you created the scan exclusions in 'Scan Exclusions' only or in 'AUTO-PROTECT, SONAR, etc' as well?

Well, I've added the entirety of both folders to "items to exclude from scans" under antivirus settings.
I'm starting to think it's NOT Norton, though, because when I completely turn off sonar and av for 15 minutes, I still get the same message from the trainer.
Nor can I download an offline key because Windows, this time, says the offline request tool can't run on your version of Windows.

Did you check Windows Defender's scan history if it's probably interfering with Norton? And please try and set all SmartScreen settings to Off if you haven't already.
Good for health, bad for education.

Thanks. I'm in Windows 10. Disabling the smartscreen notifications had no effect.
Also, Windows defender doesn't seem to have a history of anything. When I go to "firewall and network protection", it just says "status unavailable, refer to Norton."

Then I'll go along with Defender: Please ask the Norton support about it.
