The trainer itself will not open. I double click to start, I get the message to allow it to open (running as admin) and then it starts to open but nothing is popping up. When I mouse over the trainer on my start bar (active apps) the thumbnail that pops up is just blank. I am running the game on Steam; Steam loads up as admin as well so.
Scratch that, I got it working.

Absolutely love when people say they fixed it then don't say how.
Help pls.
The trainer has been working fine until recently, in the last few days, I am getting trhe following error:
"The following error happened: Invalid memory access---> Error#1029".
Tried with antivirus disabled, still the same.
Found my own answer.
Those of you with similar problem (error code #1029 or #1026), check your Windows files:
With admin command prompt, run SFC/scannow and follow the instruction to fix the files.
For me, once the files were fixed, the trainer works again.
🙂
When I try and activate the trainer when the trainer says "Trainer Activated" the voice becomes all distorted and then the game closes.
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/thank-you/runtime-desktop-3.1.2-windows-x64-installer
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/thank-you/runtime-desktop-3.1.2-windows-x86-installer
Install both, then reboot, then try the trainer. Should be good to go.
Game is installed via UPlay and everything worked fine so far. Since 1-2 week, it crashes after "Trainer activated".
Some of the things I have tried:
- disable internet (pull plug)
- sfc /scannow
- validate game files
- re-download trainer (tried the previous version as well)
- add trainer folder to antivirus exclusion list
- disable antivirus
- activate trainer by pressing F1 and alt-tab/manual activation
- reinstall (repair) .net files from above
Any ideas?

Anything in event viewer?
www.howtogeek.com/123646/htg-explains-what-the-windows-event-viewer-is-and-how-you-can-use-it/
I'm not an expert, but this looked odd:
Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows
Seems this is coming with the latest Windows 10 update 2004. Not sure if this is related.
Reinstalled the graphics driver with default settings anyway & restarted Windows, but no luck.
Your thoughts?
One of your .NET runtimes may have become corrupt with one of the last Windows updates, to be safe re-install all of these 3
Have both latest .NET CORE and FRAMEWORK
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/current/runtime
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework
(Both of the Net-Core MUST be installed x86 and x64)
