I didn't have a pink hue I don't think. I already had a lot of money in game so I just redownloaded the game and I haven't had issues since. I do think the trainer definitely did mod game files.
... which is not the case.
If thats not the case explain what happened? Also why does the trainer need to know where the game is located if it doesn't modify the game files? I know ubisoft is going overkill when it comes to it's anti cheat methods but would a save editor got around all of it?

Why does the game need to install a rootkit called EAC in order for you to play a SINGLE PLAYER OFFLINE GAME?

For obvious reasons, we aren't going to explicitly tell people what the trainer does on the site here. What it ISNT doing is cracking the game or otherwise making the game playable without you actually owning a paid for copy. In other words the DRM of the game is intact. We aren't doing anything that is irreversible to the game or thwarting the DRM of the game. What it DOES do is allow you to run the game without the EAC rootkit like malware kernel OS manipulating driver that is hijacking your Operating system and blocking access to your own files on your own computer's memory, thus allowing your trainer to attach to the game and let you enjoy the game as you would like, since you paid for it and are playing it on your own computer system. If you just wanted an isolated 'console' experience, then you would have bought it for Playstation or XBOX console. This is the PC, and this site is all about making your games more fun.
Other than that if you aren't comfortable using our trainer then don't use it.
best,
Cal
Hi,
I don't know if this already has been asked for but ist it possible to "remember" (save) the chosen game path so you don't need to go through the whole tree and choose the correct game folder?
Yes, this has been already asked and already answered. It won't be changed.
