had to do a system reinstall on my machine due to my ssd messing up >.< ,trainer works a treat.

I'm getting exactly this same issue. At first, I wasn't even getting the Steam pop-up asking me if I wanted to launch the game. After restarting both Steam and Ubi, it began to pop it up. Now it hangs with Steam trying to launch the game (after the pop-up) and the trainer seems to time out and then announces that it cannot find the game.

Will continue to poke at it on my side.

It works. Keeps saying "ACTIVATED/DEACTIVATED" about 4 times per second, so I had to mute the trainer.

But it works as a trainer.

For some reason, I am not able to get the trainer working. I see the steam pop-up, but once I click on on, trainer will say game not found and exits. Any ideas?

Tried all the methods listed above. Game works fine without trainer.

With the instructed method, I get a "Trainer cannot find game" with a pop up error code ending in 142. Then another popup saying fc_m64 dll is missing.

Running the trainer, hitting F2 to change location (I have it on d:\ drive (otherwise default directory)), restarted steam and uplay, made sure the game is not running.

I hit F1 and it begins to start. Even get the FAR CRY 5 little image, with "logging in.." under, and then "Trainer cannot find game" and the trainer quits and the game does not start.

Game starts fine without trainer.

I never got prompted by steam to allow game to launch. It just starts launching, without any popups or anything. nothing in the taskbar either.
