Why would you ever buy a sniper rifle, when you can snipe a sniper with a pistol from distance, then take their rifle and have it added to your armory?

Actually, I haven't bought any weapons; I simply kill enemies and take their weapons, and spend my money on weapon mods instead.

I just tried this in front of the apple farm, and BWAHAHAHAHA, chaos!!

I had more than 20 peggy trucks strewn all over the road by the time I had to quit playing. They kept showing up, failing to navigate the wreckage, and then getting out and getting ventilated and/or became screaming Boomer Biscuits. OM NOM NOM! Good boy!

Reminds me of some of the pile-ups you could create in Wildlands, haha.

Without being to spoilerish - For those that need to find a certain type of bear that pops up in a mission, east-ish of the fang center you tend to find some. Spoiler:.


Also, take the loot animals/herbs skill asap. Since there's no trainer yet and you'll want some cashflow it works pretty well in combination with dropping lures (get into moose or bear area and start shootin' tex). Also keep in mind that only snipers or bows will give you proper skins, any other weapon might give you ruined skins.

Also once you can buy an attack helicopter the game just becomes easy-mode, I wouldn't spend too much cash on reloading the helicopter constantly tho, it will only reload missiles, normal ammo regenerates within 30 sec.

Use NPC soldiers to max advantage. When using binocs and when aiming, such as pistol you can set up ambushes easily because you can set locations for them and they'll get there quietly as possible if you're ducked.

Once in position, send then on a priority target while you're ready to take down others that you see. Once the npc engages they'll all be alerted to that ones location. You can then rampage them by getting a clean drop on them.

There's a lot of fun stuff in this thing and I've yet to experience even a 5th of it. Having a good time.

This is patently not true. I hunt animals with LMGs and assault rifles and still get the proper skins; the ruined skins come from killing the animals with fire, explosives or just running them over with a vehicle.

Additional NPC soldier usage:

Just cleared a house and while outside a big rig drove up. Headshot the driver with 9mm and jumped in. My soldier jumped in the passenger. So I thought - can they drive too?

Jumped out, jumped in passenger seat. Soldier jumped behind the wheel. Opened the map and set a waypoint back to the center island... and s o b "Roger!" and he began driving to the waypoint I set, now freeing me up to lean out focused on shooting or anything else.

This ... is.... excellent. Reminds of GTA gang rides, except this may be more flexible, at-least regarding the AI ability.

Anyone know where i can get an new bow?
i lost mine when I killed one enemy near water was looting him and iit got switch with a gun and the bow disapear in the water ithink can't find it!!! I love bows
or any know where to get silencer?

Just go to any weapon vendor you can equip it again for free.
