I wanted to make this message to clarify something that I want to see in the future in Railway Empire and if anyone has any knowledge or useful information to provide for this particular idea I have in mind. (it would help tremendously) As we all know American trains are some of the longest if not the longest trains in the world; I’ve always been excited to see long trains and preferred them to shorter consists. So then I thought why not include more wagons to pull instead of always a maximum of 8 per train. I mean it would make sense after all seeing as how the towns grow, so should the length of the trains. I know the developers would have to accommodate for this with longer stations and warehouses, and some other tweaks here and there; but come on, think realistically for a second, some of those later tech tree locomotives (especially 2-6-6-2, and 0-6-6-0) should practically be able to pull more than 8 cars. There can even be a feature to doublehead locomotives or add pushers at the end for longer trains. Not to mention it would make a great pairing with the full U.S. map coming soon. I just had this idea so that the game can not only be more realistic but challenging and rewarding as well; to see trains with wagon spans of at least double the length of 8 make it over grades and through tunnels like the little engines that could would be a very satisfying experience would it not, (and maybe make a good cheat as well) but this is just my opinion. 🚂 😉
