Thanks, this is what fixed it, I re-verified everything, did the process again and now the trainer activates!

I played about 3 hours before the trainer was even out.

But yeah, I did exactly what was shown in the video, and I still get access is denied. I even open my task manager EAC is not running at all. The game starts and everything, just the trainer gives me the error.

I double checked, EAC is uninstalled from the client in the games folder, and I deleted the launcher.exe and replaced it with the cheat happens .exe

did you re-verify from steam? As in Verify the Integrity of Game Files?

Edit: Just tried doing that, re-verified it replaced the launcher.exe. Followed the steps onthe video still getting access denied.

re-verify again, run the game normally and load in, exit game THEN replace the .exe and uninstall EAC and try again.

0x90 actually did the best customer support ever. He went into my computer and fixes it remotely, thanks 0x90 it was the driver running in the background. After the re-start it works now.

So, I've done as described in the OP and replaced the launcher aswell as uinstalling EAC. However... now I'm having a problem that the game launches in my native language instead of english (yes, I'd rather play the game in english than my own language.. I'm weird that way). Any tips on setting the default language back to english?

Just in case if someone has the same problem with access denied and cannot solve it although following the guide. You need to reboot your computer and the first thing after is to uninstall EAC. The reboot is requireed as EAC driver runs in background, blocks the uninstallation (EAC installer does not give any information about this) and only gets released after reboot.
