Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Message Board  

I got evidence from Hedge (A FatShark Develop) He showed me. Banned people won't be able to access the game... PERIOD. They try running the game, it will say some stupid thing like (installing for the first time) And it will stay like that for ages. Now I was using the VT1 Framework. Changed some code settings and what did you know... The LUA Files are almost exactly alike... VT2 LUA files are just scrambled encodings. My friend was banned recently for changing and leaking stuff to help people to give people chests and attack the backend of FatSharks Setvers (Server Side of things NOT Client side)

All Hedge did was role out the first wave bans and said to me on the discord server If they want to play this game again. They will have to buy it again.

So if you idiots think that EAC is fully on and operational... You don't even know the half of it... Please Stop using the trainer in public servers. Do it private. FatShark only did this as a warning. Next time they won't be so nice.

Can confirm. Had a similar incident all Friday from morning to evening. Actually at times had trouble even running games or launching the Steam client, but apparently from what I heard it was the Steam Poland servers that was causing all the trouble.
Everything is sorted now however.

As users of this terrific trainer, we should definitely pay heed to these things; please use the trainer as it was intended!

im looking for help. is there any wrong? it worked fine 2 days ago, but not effecitve now.

I have been struggling to get this trainer to work. Now, I am not complaining, I am just looking to find out if I am doing something wrong.

I run the trainer as admin
I launch the game which opens up the games launcher
I verify that I am in DX11 mode within its settings
I then click play from the launcher
The game goes through the developer advertisement videos, then starts the game intro video.
I hold down a key (usually spacebar) to skip the video which brings me to the in-game menu.
I then press F1 - this plays the please wait, trainer activated voice.
I then click play from the in-game menu which takes me to the keep.
I run over to the mission board and select custom game
I make sure that PRIVATE is checked to take me out of matchmaking.
I click on start game and run over to the blue bubble in the keep to load the mission
When the game loads in, I then press "1" on my numpad and I can hear it say activated.
I run up to a mob and they slaughter me.

I have been reading through the forums to see if there were any sort of little tips to try. So far, I have been unsuccessful with the following:

Making sure the game is installed on the same drive as steam
Disabling antivirus (mbam & windows defender)
Running the game as admin
Running the trainer as admin
Alt tabbing out of the game and pressing F1 to activate the trainer
Running 1.02 trainer for 30 seconds and then closing it out and trying the latest trainer
Switching characters using the skull in the keep before I start a custom mission
Running the game in windowed mode
Running the game in borderless fullscreen

Again, please don't take this as complaining. I love you guys. I am just looking for help.

Trainer working fine last night tried running it today and it no longer works. It loads up fine but then before the main menu it crashes to desktop.

hmm, did you maybe download the NEW trainer that was posted today after they patched the game at 5AM this morning?

Why are there 3 update reports, trainer works fine, just played a private game with bots, all 4 options work
