Trainer worked brilliantly until I reached the end of the mission.

When I walked through the end portal the game's anti cheat kicked me out the game. I didn't untoggle the HP option so it's highly likely I'm just a numpty.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have tried what is on the read me for the game, run as admin, etc, but it still says it cannot find the game. Reading what is before my post, it seems i am not the only one... 🙁

Okay so the only way to use this trainer is for EXP, and you will get booted from the game evrytime, again use this in a private singleplayer match with all bots. Two uses ive found for this trainer: Level up to 30 right away; since this game gives you hero power per level, the maps will be easier to play and you can get higher power rewards faster, using the trainer this way will negate all rewards, including end-mission rewards and commendation rewards (level-up rewards). Then play legit for commendation and end game rewards. And use number two, and by far the best one i think; is to use the trainer to get close to leveling up, quit game and quit trainer, then run a quick play online and get the reward for the level up. these rewards can get you up to 300 which is max. For now this is the best we got, and soon this cheat may be taken down, so use it while you still can folks.

I agree with the lvl aspect via solo mode but playing a legit round right before lvl up is pretty hard to manage, since you cant set the amount of xp you get.

Btw: in what way does my lvl 30 main affect a twink, i will start? Any benefits concerning loot?

The current trainer at this time is all that it can be; everything has been done that can be done. And it will unfortunately continue to be that way, unless or until the EAC server configuration the game uses is changed. In addition to this, it is good to keep in mind that there are no other trainers available anywhere. For the time being anyway, you may have to play Vermintide 2 without a trainer.
