I followed the instructions but it still says cannot find game. Do we have to disable EAC?

I get the cannot find game as well have tried uninstalling/reinstalling EAC, have tried run as admin, no luck. (i know run the trainer first) haha had a typo and put game :P

You're meant to run the trainer before the game.

You also have to move/rename the EAC folder 'launcher'.

I just played the first mission of the release version 1.0 with our trainer without renaming/moving the EAC folder as previously described.

After the single player test I closed the Steam client, cleared the cache and Temp folder, rebooted and was able to join a multiplayer party without an issue (and obviously without the trainer).

Does our OS matter? I'm running windows 7 home edition I've started the trainer after re downloading and I notice that sometimes I cant actually see the window for it from a when I open it straight out of a new download but if I do it a second time I see it but also when it get the the main menu it still says cannot find game is their away to get direct ex 11 or 12 for the trainer? because I can only run the game in direct x 11 and I think or at least hope it's a goof on my end that's why the trainer doesn't work.

The trainer works with both DX versions of the game.

Do you activate the trainer in the game's main menu and not at the launcher? When you can see your hero and can change the settings etc?

Yes I see my hero and as well as options and it still says cannot find game.

The usual things:


Proper scan exclusions in security software as described in the instructions and not just disabled your security software?

Cleared Windows Temp folder and rebooted PC?

Launched trainer with admin rights?

Ruled out any other possible culprit (ie real-time backup software or maintenance one-click tools, online banking software or add-ons, hardware monitoring tools, anything else running unnecessarily in the background)


Other than that, no idea.
