I've read some pages and saw that the trainer is working for few people.
I wonder how did they do to get it works. Mine is crashing with the dinput8.dll thing that few others people mentioned.
I precise : I run dx11, I run on 1.0.7.1 and not the beta 1.0.8, I followed every step of the readme and special readme file included with the trainer. I'm using cheathappens trainers since years (thx for the job, I got a lifetime just for ur VT2 trainer), and first time I get a crash with one of their trainer.
Has anyone figured out a solution to fix this crashes and enjoy the game with trainer ??
What worked for me was going into the install directory for VT2, deleting the EAC files, and then running the EAC installer to reinstall the files. Basically delete the entire EasyAntiCheat folder. Then go to Installers>EasyAntiCheat and run the EAC setup wizard.
Worked like a charm for me
Thank you so much!!!!!
Are you sure you arent running windows defender? That comes on the system for free from microsoft. Also, you may have been caught cheating already and EAC has blocked you already. Or, maybe you have another game that has EAC and you uninstalled the one from vermintide and not the others? Also, after installing EAC again you are supposed to do a verify game cache on the files. And if you have moved the install folders from like the d drive to the c drive, or anywhere to anywhere else, you have go through heck to get it to work. Steam has a big thread on how to get it back working, and that was WITHOUT using a trainer, it is just EAC problems.
I'm positive. I manually turned it off. Also, this has nothing to do with Steam or EAC, the error I'm talking about is from the trainer itself. No VAC bans or anything like that against my account, and as I haven't been able to get the trainer working before today, I've never had the opportunity to cheat in this game.
Though now that it IS working, I'm very grateful for the trainer. Unlimited Ammo is laughably overpowered. I'm loving it.
