I can't seem to get the trainer to work, the game won't let me boot at all.
I have followed the V2_special_readme instructions from points 1-6 but the game tells me it is in an untrusted state and will not let me get past the loading screen.
I downloaded the 1.0.5 trainer and ran that, then verified local files on Steam, rebooted my system and ran the game without any issues with no trainer opened. Then I tried the new trainer and it still wouldn't let me pass. I did this twice and the same thing keeps happening.
Any tips?
Remove game and reinstall and do the following thats posted back on 138 by Cal
run trainer, select root game folder, DO NOT run the game, close the trainer.
This should reset everything.
run the game once without the trainer to make sure it runs fine with no errors.
then close the game.
wait 30 seconds.
run the trainer, select root game folder, NOW run the game, then press F1 for trainer activation once you see your character that you can select.
Most of this stuff is outlined in the .txt files that came with the trainer.
If all else fails, delete the two binaries folders and run integrity check with steam, or you can delete the entire game folder and run integrity check to re install from scratch.

The trainer runs fine but then all of a sudden shuts down. It can happen if I run the game and activate it and try to load a map or If I just wait at the start screen it will crash out after a few minutes. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps on the website and read through the thread. I reinstalled the game and followed PWizards instructions as well. Always with the same result.
Is your 'always with the same result crash' reproducible with all hero characters and all trainer options on all different mission maps?

Ive tried all the steps but still getting a d8input.dll error, even reinstalled it on 3 different hard drives.
Followed all the CH staff instructions here in forum and the V2 Special readme file but nothing is working. Just the same Untrusted State error
I'm now getting an error saying that binaries\dinput8.dll is an untrusted system file. I have followed all directions in the special readme, including runing the 1.05 trainer. Anyone else seeing this?
I've posted the solution to this at least 3-4 times in the last 2 days. Read back through the thread as I'm not repeating it again.

only about 50% of trys can use the trianer successfully
sometime even go through all the 3 steps
the message still shows up

Do you try to do a Quick Play? Because that's going to cause the message to show up when the game tries to join you with another player. The trainer only works when you play alone with bots only.
I've been using the trainer in private mode and I had no issues at all.
