Yes, it still reports 1.0.5.1 for 1.0.6. If others are experiencing this issue, please report your specs and the process you used to run the trainer.

It's also worth noting that the game may have stealth patched again once the trainer was released and/or there could be remnants of the older trainers and/or files causing errors to occur. Either way, we will look into it as soon as we have a few hours to sleep if there are a lot of more reports.

Good job, it's a little sad this is LifeTime now, and the monthly ones can not access anymore. but it is totally understandable, as they say, few pay for the mistakes of many. Anyway, excellent work.

As far as me running the trainer i literally just followed the instructions listed.

"Vermintide 2 Trainer v1.0.6+

If you problems with your CURRENT game/trainer combo and trying the NEW trainer the game won’t run or reports errors, etc, then you need to:

1) run the previous trainer (not this new one), select the root install directory of the game, then close the trainer. This resets folders/firewalls/filenames, etc.
2) do integrity check with steam to make sure all files are present and correct.
3) restart windows
4) run the game with NO trainer to make sure it runs and there is no errors, etc. THEN you can try the new trainer
5) running game in a window likely will help to get it to work in many instances.
6) trainer must ALWAYS be run first, the run the game via steam, then click START, once you loaded and see your character THEN press F1 to activate."

This was simply due to the number of patches the game has received, reaching 20 since we started making the trainer. It was not made lifetime intentionally. But if it weren't today then it would be tomorrow with 1.0.6.1 or the next day with 1.0.7 or the next with 1.0.7.1, etc etc. We also gave people fair warning that the game was nearing the 20 patch Lifetime mark days ago.

FYI, I did receive the error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)" the first time I tried it. I ended up deleting the game, deleting the entire Vermintide 2 folder under my Steam folder, re-downloading the game and then using the trainer as instructed. Worked perfectly as shown in video below:





Note that the same could also likely be achieved by following the special readme instructions to clear all previous files, settings, etc from leftover previous trainers. But as of right now the trainer is working 100%.

How trainer r u using? You are a lifetime too?

The only working trainer for v1.0.6 requires a lifetime membership.
