Should you have hosted a game with other human players and used the trainer is abusing our trainer as we consider this as online multiplayer cheating. - But only, if you did this.

The trainer is for private matches with bots only.

OK, no I never used the trainer while playing with another person, only ever with bots. Oh well it is a shame that people were doing this but it can't be helped, you guys can only make the trainer, not police how people use them. Hopefully you figure a way past the EAC again sometime soon

Just a random thought... Of course I am totally convinced that there were players using the CH trainer online with other human players despite the repeated warnings from staff members, but I submit this for consideration.. Is it outside the realm of possible that a Developer from Fatshark made an account here and downloaded the trainer then dismantled it to see how it worked then went to EAC and said how do we fix this? I mean, that's also a probable scenario as well, and works well in conjunction with what was happening tbh. Sure, the indicator was members abusing it, then the solution would be to get the trainer then plug the hole, or maybe it was just a Developer who stumbled across the Trainer inadvertently, who knows.. Either way, it appears that Fatshark is more concerned with countering Trainers and hacking in their game then they are with fixing bugs or balancing their game. It is what it is for now, so I don't think you can really say one way or another that the use of this trainer specifically online was the actual catalyst for the current upadte or not, because there was more than just this one available for use in their game.. Anyway, I do appreciate the work put into this and hopefully it will be revisited once the modding system is in place.

i have this error say when i click F1 "trainer cant find game" ???

The problem is, they've said that unless a mod is "whitelisted", then it will disable XP and loot boxes while active. Basically to stop people making "easy mode" mods that would let them easily grind stuff.

Likely the only mods that will let you still earn stuff will be interface and graphical ones. Or potentially something that makes the game even harder.

As for the Fatshark devs making an account here to get the trainer themselves, I wouldn't put it past them. I know of various devs for online games who have done such (even quite a few for single player games).

But there were definitely MANY people who were stupid and using the trainer online and ruining it for everyone. People on the Steam forums were constantly complaining about cheaters running around using their special infinitely or the team not being able to take damage.

Honestly, I can't understand why anyone would be that stupid unless they WANT the trainer to fail.

There is nothing in this game that is worth this much asset allocation for protection lol. Fatshark is prioritizing the wrong things for their $$, time and effort vice making their game more viable and fun. Going after trainers, even though some players have used it and ruined it for everyone else, isn't really a big deal imho so you do that game and you disband the party, make a mental note of who that was and just don't party with them if it truly ruins your "gaming experience" so much..

I agree though, the mods they will approve (white list) will only be ones that will enhance graphics or add more challenge to the game, not detract from it in any way. However, they may leave a backdoor for the team here to exploit, which some are hopeful for.

It won't matter if there are 5 million update reports. The trainer is as-is and we can't defeat their new anti-cheat measures without "cracking" their own rootkit virus known as EAC.

However, we have heard that you can roll the game back to the previous update and use the previous trainer and it works just fine. Google it.
