i did every step you said its still not working for me, still says trainer cannot find game.

Ok, I know why some of us can't make the trainer work at all : you need to delete some EasyCheat files in "launcher" under your vm2 steam directory. It allows you to start the game without EAC activated. Just keep the files on your desktop, you'll need them when you want to play with other people again.

For anybody who wants to know:

Move the whole EasyAntiCheat folder in this location -> yourSteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\launcher\ to ie. your Desktop or any other location and follow the steps provided in the trainer's instructions.

As of release version 1.0 this method is not longer necessary on my side to have the trainer finding the game's exe. But it work for others.

This works too disable EAC, However, I've tried doing a mission and still come up with the same thing at the end and get kicked. Unfortunately, I think we'll have to wait for them to release the modded/unmodded servers to use this trainer properly. 😭

If I recall correctly, this puts the game in a 'non-trusted' state and you can't save your progress. EAC is going to have to be bypassed for the online aspect to work.

You still get exp, just no loot. The game also crashes after the match is finished, even if you remove EAC.

P.S: the infinite special ability is nuts on waystalker.

i have the problem of the the trainer not being found...followed the instructions to fix it, still didn't work, came here to the MB, found the possible fix for changing name of EAC, followed those instructions, now when I go to play, I go into steam, press my WH PLAY button, then it crashes and tells me I need to log into my Steam account to play...now what do I try?
