I have only played a few hours so far but the story is engaging. The time period, historically, is something I know very little about so I enjoy reading the codex pop ups which are well written and short and to the point.
The main players in the story are not fully understood in the beginning but I think that is purposeful as you play the son of a swordsmith and don't know the world except from rumors at the local tavern.
It is a really solid feel RPG and beautiful graphically so far. I have a decent computer so perhaps I am lucky but I have seen no bugs yet.
I am a kb/mouse kind of guy but I recommend the gamepad for this one if you have it.
Games are about escapism, please keep your agenda and current modern day issues to yourselves developers. Let us know up front if you are putting out a bs propaganda game or walking simulator with a message.
