Dynasty Warriors 9 Message Board  

I think we, as gamers, expect too much out of a game. I've been seeing gameplay footage of the game for over a month via twitter and I love it. I played it for .8 hours (before I asked for a refund to get the 10% off..still waiting) and I love it. I think Cao Cao is portrayed as he should have been (he's not an evil person, just an ambitious one) and Liu Bei WAS a whiny wimp who's only strength were his brothers and, later, Zhuge Liang. I think the open world is great, the side missions are fun the crafting is cool and the combat is actually streamlined and free flowing. I can't wait for the trainer so I can really enhance the game.

The game is enjoyable, not the best or most polished, but still enjoyable. But I typically enjoy the ROTK setting so i'm pretty biased.

Long fan of Dynasty Warriors but this one is a mess, 2/10.

Check Jim Sterling's video on it before buying just to be sure.

Game isn't the worst thing ever, but I'd put it on par with DW6. Tried to do too much too fast.
