So to clarify, the all new trainers will be for the newest DLC's available and will not work on the versions without that DLC, even if it shows the version number being the same as the new trainer...
I sadly do not have the money to get any more DLC's for this game and this is indeed very sad news. I am not sure what to do next other than try the old version trainer on this one and just hope that it somehow works.
That is the very same way with our Civilization 5 trainer where we also decided to support the latest game version with the latest big DLC.
Please read the last posts of PWizard here why it happened with Civ 6 now -> Link

yes.. you can blame the civ developers for this, who compound the issue by making more and more .dll's that are ALL updated with each patch. We cannot go back and update 5-6 .dll's for each version of civ when it patches every 3 weeks, sorry

Dear Sir
Either the game crashes if I enable it inside the map or the trainer crashes if I enable it at the main menu and then try to reset it inside the map because it does not work.
I have done what you suggest with no luck.
Only thing I can think is that I bough the EU version of the dlc.
It worked until now with the basic game.
Any help ?
Is there a EU version of the trainer if that is the problem ?
Thanks
No, there is no EU trainer version.
Please make sure that you have enabled the DLC in the Steam client and in the game's own mod folder and activate the trainer pressing F1 when in the actual game.
More and specific information is included in the trainer's instructions or readme file.
