Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
I did this and the request was denied based on that it's 'working' for Caliber. It's great that it works for the majority of people. This does not however mean that it works for everyone. Reiterating what I said already:
- Rise and fall expansion is enabled
- Waited till the "Begin Game" button appeared, also waited till I was IN (as stated in the second option in the PDF) the game.
- Tried running both the game as well as the trainer in admin mode.
- There is no AV active, no firewall active.
- Trainer version matches game version.
As posted above I'm running this on Windows 7 x64, so the game is in DX11 mode. Maybe that causes the problem.
Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer in is folder excluded from virus scans and empty the quarantine folder if needed.
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin and try again.

Tell me how to fix your problem. Clearly it's a problem unique to your machine or the way you are running the game. You can post over and over that it doesn't work, and I will post over and over that it does.
Something is blocking the trainer or there is user error, or the versions don't match. There is no other possibility. Since I fresh installed the game with the DLC, made sure the DLC is enabled, downloaded latest fresh trainer, and didn't activate until I am in the game and able to move the units, and it works here, then I have to assume that it's something on your end.
Sorry, but there's not much else I can do. I WILL say that I haven't used Windows 7 in about 5 years..
best,
Cal
Having the same issue as the last guy,
Acer Aspire E5
I5-7200U
Geforce 950M
8 Gig ram
Win10
Had the OG game 2 days, updated to rise today and downloaded the trainer same session,
Tried on the peter the great scenario and takes a while to activate try to do the money code and load the first city screen and boom. Crashes. It appears just like the win7 guy.
Have you done the steps 2 posts above, have you read the instructions to make sure you are activating options correctly?
the trainers is activated on the game but there is no changes when i press any of the hotkeys and i followed all the instruction !!

Bought a new PC last friday, now with windows 10 pro.
Launched the game again (DX12 mode and DX11). Same issue.
Turns out it wasn't my PC, nor is it the new one. The trainer actually works fine. Just not when you launch the Alexander the Great scenario. I have yet to test other scenarios, but it works fine in regular single player.
