I have a question about boosting a Wonder with the trainer. I just started using the trainer to test some features of Rise and Fall, and to try out some new leaders that I have not played before. To make things easier, I started using the trainer on a few play-throughs.
The options to boost units and buildings seem to work, though it is a little wonky.. meaing it takes a few clicks sometimes to get the boost to show up and build the unit or building in one turn. This is fine, I've no issues there.
The problem I do have, however, is trying to get Wonders to build faster. It seems no matter what I try, I cannot speed up the wonder. I've tried the boost building and boost project options, clicking the building and then pressing the boost option, and also tried it the other way around, pressing the numpad button first and then the wonder, but nothing seems to speed it up.
Am I missing something perhaps?
How do you build a wonder faster? This also seems to sometimes happen with settler units. It can take quite a few tries to get it to recognize the attempt.
Now, I have read through previous comments, and realize that sometimes it takes a few tries to boost something -enough- but my issue is, the boosts seem to not work sometimes at all, and then all of a sudden it works. But never for wonders.
I have tried resetting the trainer, restarting the game, etc. Keep in mind, the other parts of the trainer are working fine, just never for wonders, and very rarely does it work for settlers.
Also... HOW does one change the "Modifying Values" for this trainer? Or is it possible at all?
TDLR.. short version:
1. How to use the trainer to complete a Wonder in ONE turn, or speed up progress?
2. How to properly speed up a settler unit?
3. How to change the "Modifying Values" for this trainer?
Thank you in advance, for any replies.
For questions #1 and #2, I have found that if I use Numpad 5 to boost production on a unit a bunch, click all the building options(including wonders)while hitting Numpad 5(end back on the unit), and then let the unit build, the remaining production gets set aside as general production on your next turn. It's kinda a backward way of doing it but it gets the desired outcome. Hope this helps!
When I activate the trainer after the begin game selection the trainer take a long time to activate the trainer. Then a few moments later the game crashes.
Anyone having this issue?
Do you own the Rise & Fall DLC? Have you enabled the DLC as described? Do you try to use a pre-Rise&Fall savegame with the trainer?
Do you have the scan exclusions created in your security software as mentioned 2 posts above yours and launched the trainer with admin rights?
