Which security software do you use and what is your Windows OS version, edition and build?

I have no IE browser addons

and for security I simply use Windows Defender and Windows Firewall

OS is Windows 10 Home 64bit

Well, I give up. Just don't use TM to download trainers.

Totally reset IE maybe?

It was mainly to keep them updated. I'll try that link now thanks

and there is always this, not sure if still an addon or is now part of IE itself.

To turn on or off Enhanced Protected Mode

Open Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, and then select Internet Options.

On the Advanced tab, under Security, select (or clear) the Enable Enhanced Protected Mode check box, and then select OK. You'll need to restart your PC before this setting takes effect.

OK, now it downloads in IE but not the manager?


I enabled that enhanced protection mode in ie

I have a couple of things (Win-7) that don't work right without that Enhanced Protected Mode enabled.
