In case anyone else comes across this issue, I had the same problem but resolved it by going down to the shooting range and toggling the infinite laser power on, firing a few shots from the diesel gun, then toggling it off again so the ammo count shows a normal number, after that I was able to complete the objective.
Using the method you described, I still cannot refuel the helicopter 😂
When I try to refuel the chopper it pumps for a few seconds then says that I need more diesel, then when I go to fill up it says that I'm maxed out. I'm using the trainer but I can't get it to shut off, I tried running the game without the trainer but I must have made a save with it on because it still says maxed out. does anyone know where I can get a complete save game file for this game?
Having the same problem as yours. Saved games found on the net is not compatible with this release. Guess have to start from previous saves. This game is buggy in my option.
