Age of Empires: Definitive Edition Message Board  

When I use the game pass version from 20th august (yesterday) the game will run for less than a minute and then throw a warning message that a running process is interfering with the game and it quits to the main menu with no option to play single player or anything else.

I am running game pass version 27805.

Without the trainer enabled the game will run for hours on end without any problems.

The manual input cheats from the original Age Of Empires work with this game though

The game is constantly patching now due to its steam release and Gamescom publicity.

It hasn't been patched on Game Pass yet. Its still on the same build from when I downloaded it.

That's right. The game pass version had another anticheat trigger which only kicks it after half an hour or hour or something. That should be fixed with upcoming trainer update.

Steam version however has patched and as far as I can tell, no longer any anticheat triggers running.

Updated trainer will be posted.

I tried the new trainer just now and it still kicks off after less than a minute. Not a half hour. I'm hoping they update it to get rid of that crap> I thought maybe using the trainer to increase stone , wood , gols and wood then exit the trainer might help but it doesnt.

That's weird. Are you using campaign or custom game? Hopefully not multiplayer

If you activate the trainer and open the options menu and click on "OK" to get back to main menu, does anything happen? This is also a place where anticheat triggers.

I am using single player campaign. I never play any game online. When the message pops up the game quits to main menu on its own with most options greyed out. My only option is to quit and restart.

I just checked your suggestion and nothing happens when I go to the options menu and then go back to the main menu. Anti Cheat only kicks in when I change the resources. Then less than a minute later a big box almost fills the screen with the message that something is running in the background. Thats with using the new trainer that was released yesterday.

Thanks, sounds like another anticheat trigger I've missed. I will take a look at it.
