I tested this on a win 10 partition that has never had CH or MTAP run on it before.
I did copy over the MTAP save game files. Beyond that, none of the above folders existed previously on this partition. I started the trainer and loaded a game save from Feb. Same problem. I went back into MTAP to the main menu, but did not load a game file. Same problem when trying to activate CH.

The other things are
1) various other of your trainers that I use do work. Kynseed, Valheim, Pumpkin Days, No Man's Sky.
2) The MTAP trainer does work on Server 2016. This partition has a history with MTAP and your trainer for it.
3) Things like run as administrator, get a fresh copy of the trainer, have Steam verify game files have no effect.

There probably is some dumb thing I have overlooked, but I would suggest it won't be in your generic list of things to try.

Get an offline key, put it in the same folder as the trainer and disconnect the internet see if it runs.

Also make sure the OS can support .NET Cores/Framework needed and install these.

Have all .NET CORE and Framework installed BOTH x86 AND x64 MUST BE INSTALLED

Hello ! I can't use the editing of the select item... I follow the instruction, (drag the item etc...) but when I go back here on the trainer, there is still the ??, and I cannot enter a amount...

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

It seems free crafting is doing nothing or am I doing it wrongly. Already followed the instructions but keep getting failed message. Any ideas?

I not for sure how to use the Workshop cheat part. I tried everything I can think of. Is there anyone that might can email on here to give a step by step instructions on how to use this cheat on the trainer. I tried both ways with the editor and the other part but nothing. I went by what the trainer said but still nothing. I am at a lost. It could be just me but I need some help. LOL
