Has anyone had this happen to them yet. Have you been betrayed by any of the Orcs you've recruited and if so how often has it happened. It was mentioned in the Steam forums that it has happened a lot to people and I believe that it may be because of the difficulty level the game is set at.

Once so far. Then he wouldn't stay dead. Re-spawned like 5 times till my guy finally got fed up and decapitated him.
He kept growing in level too.

I have had only 1 betrayal in normal difficulty other than Bruz (inevitable)So far i have faced like 4 different brothers of Bruz which is pretty funny at this point. 😀

Its been said that it can partially have to do if they have a relationship with an Orc you killed, such as a blood brother type of scenario.
May also happen if you don't offer them missions or level them up, which would make sense.

I was playing on Nemesis difficulty and the unfortunate situation of 3 captains betraying me at the same time. That happened while I was dominating captains so I could take down the first fortress.
I haven't had anything quite that bad happen sense, but I was getting betrayed rather frequently earlier in my playthrough.

I jumped I had 3 betray me at once when I was challenging a War Chief and his body guards. Of course, they all got the Iron Will buff.

Playing on hardest difficulty and I get betrayed quite often...if it has something to do with how often you level them or give them missions, that may make sense as I neglect the crap out of them...except the ones I favor and am trying to make into level 60 Warchiefs/Warlords. And usually the betrayers end up with that "Iron Will" buff so I can either "Fate worse than death" them, or just outright kill them...I don't mind though, especially since if the missions/leveling thing is true, then it's my own fault..."Idle hands are the devil's playground"
