i cant figure out how i increase my strength ranking.. all the other factions seems to rush forward without any stop while mine keeps shrinking..
Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

In my experience the Strength ranking (which you see most prominently on the Diplomacy screen) is a combination of number of settlements you own and number of military units you have (and possibly the strength of said units - higher tier units = more strength). So if you're actively expanding your empire by conquering settlements and raising armies your strength will rise relative to the other factions.

also.. maybe i misunderstood you here but, the lower the number , the better whne it comes to strength ranking .

Yes the lower the number the better..

@Sutek Not really, a strength ranking of 1 means you are the number 1 strongest faction. Works the same as any other ranking system, the rank one person is the best one.

the reason i find it confusing is that some npc factions are acting as if they where stronger..

Sorry for bumping an older topic but just FYI - When it comes to the strength rating, it will make some factions/empires avoid you however rival factions will also see you as a target because of this and may actively seek you out, especially on the higher difficulty levels. You will also see alliances and confederations happen as well that would seemingly otherwise not make sense, purely to target you with the higher rating. 😭
