Hi, I was just curious if anyone else has tried using this trainer recently, or if I'm doing something stupid.
I hear "Please Wait" when I try to activate the trainer, but it just freezes.
-AntiVirus Turned off
-Open in Admin mode selected
-Temp and CheatHappens folder history deleted
-Windows 10
-Via Origin
I've used some other trainers recently (House Flipper and Far Cry 5) but I'm not ruling out my config or I'm forgetting something.
Thanks!
What does the debug info say?

Huh, I was hoping for more of a Red Flag somewhere...

The only thing I can think of is if Windows defender is causing a conflict. But when I open it up, it says ..The settings for Windows Defender Antivirus aren't available because it is turned off. Open Windows Defender Security Center to turn it on...
I admit I'm still new to Windows 10 so maybe there's a setting somewhere I'm overlooking.
If Windows Defender is turned off and you didn't do it deliberately then likely you have a 3rd party security software installed. Instead of disabling it, did you try and created scan exclusions for the trainer exe file and the Work folder? The Work folder is located here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\
Yup, I use AVG, and I added that folder a while back to get it to work with the FC5 trainer. In that case it would pop up a message saying .threat found. blah blah, which wasn't the case here. Plus I put it to sleep as well just in case.
Thanks though!
Maybe there's something I can do to see what's going on when it freezes? Like a process running or something?
You can look up the Windows Event Viewer and the trainer related entry (as the trainer 'freezes' this should be a Warning, Critical or an Error entry). Press Win key + S and enter event -> Event Viewer opens
Or perform a clean boot with Windows, launch the trainer and the game and see if it still happens. How to -> Link
Oh cool!
I'm looking at the Event Viewer, but not seeing anything under Warning, Error, or Critical that resembles the trainer. Unless it's like .service control manager. or something.
This is a neat tool though!
