Battle Chasers: Nightwar Message Board  

The problem is that when I travel on the world map where they show roads I am having trouble getting my party to go the way I want them to. I figure maybe I'm only supposed to go in certain directions but I'm not sure. I tried looking up the key bindings but of course the don't list that in options for the game. In fact they don't have an options screen in the games menus. I did find a manual for the game in all those menus but I wasn't able to find what I was looking for.

That's odd. Keyboard controls? I'm using a controller and have no probs navigating the maps.

Wait, you're able to use the controller? I tried to use it and it wasn't reconzing my DS4 on Steam...

Absolutely - basic 360 controller. As soon as I picked it up and hit a button the game automatically switched from keyboard to controller.

I don't own a controller so I might as well get a refund.

I use just the keyboard and it works just fine. WASD or Arrow keys to move around. The overworld map is not like the dungeons , you can only move along the roads.

Yeah, for some reasons, I was able to use my controller, so I'm all good.

And yeah, you can use WASD for movement or the arrow key. This game works best with controller, but you can use the keyboard and mouse.

@Dlenny - I did encounter one particular point on the world map where I couldn't advance until I pressed the 'activate' button/key which opened a dialogue which then allowed me to progress. Maybe that's where you are? Hope that helps.
