I'm having the saving problem with the windows store version Where it won't save.

I've been using invincible and meter cheat, completed two levels, pressed ESC and clicked on "Exit to desktop". Then I've restarted the game and my progress were saved.

Can you please try on a new savegame and see if it saves the first levels for you?

//edit: How many coins did you had when it hasn't saved your game?

i still not sure about this trainer that disable game saving. i played 3 hours yesterday then quit to desktop. after load back in, my game progress gone. have to start from new. but i read that some other people have same issue on cuphead windows store page. so, assuming they dont use this trainer, they are facing same issue...

Yeah the save game progress being gone or game not saving seems to be the game itself and not the trainer. I bought on windows store (giving windows a chance) but the not saving glitch or whatever it is was infuriating for my girlfriend and me (and we did not use the trainer at the time). So I ditched it and got the steam version. Haven't hit a save hiccup so far.

Has anyone found out what's causing it? I did try a new save without the trainer and it seemed to fix the problem for me by auto-saving at first, but upon activating the trainer it stops saving again. It's definitely another buggy Windows Store release.

glitch? see steam user too no save .. or dev anti cheat

I can save on windows store and Steam with trainer active using all cheats for 2-3 missions in a row. We have other users confirming they can save too while using the trainer. So it's definitely not anticheat.

Just tested the trainer, when I entered the shop my coins went from 60 to 9 and I could not do anything, no buttons were working and I couldn't even exit the shop or pause the game.
