Hello my fellow golfers,
This is a gamepad mod I made to assist in my driving and putting,
I am sure you can adapt it to use on any gamepad, personally I use
a Xbox1 controller. With a little time and patients this mod will
improve your game 100%, amazingly it did for me. I use the Pro club
set which is in the player settings, keep in mind that the Pro clubs
are still challenging, the backswing and downswing still have to be
perfect or you will fade or draw. The Standard and Player clubs are
are more forgiving. My average drive is 300+ depending on the course
and wind direction, my longest drive is 349 yards. If you decide to
use the Pro clubs make sure you go to the practice course to hone
your skills, rhythm is key regardless of what club set you are using.

Now for the Mod,
I decided to make this mod because of the fact that CH was unable to
support us gamepad users, nothing against CH, they are amazing site!,
some games can be trained and some not so much.

I have included a picture of my Xbox1 controller in this archive to
point you in the right direction for making this mod.

I dug out an old controller that I could dedicate to The Golf Club 2
to make my mod. I did this so my rail guide could be glued to it. If
you are unable to dedicate a controller you can find away to make it
removable, I tried wire ties but the guide moved to much and I had to
re-align it so the vertical movement of the thumb stick was perfect.
The vertical movement is critical to this mod if you want it to work
right.

This mod will keep your right thumb stick in a true vertical movement.

I dedicated my controller to this game because I play it all the time,
I have over 350 hours logged onto the first game and I currently have
150 on this one, I love this game! I also have the VR version of the
game and it is fantastic.

I hope this mod will help improve your game because it helped mine.
