I am only ever going to play with friends when playing multiplayer and they are already talking about starting a hard mode version of the game. Can we use this to boost our characters accordingly without fear of some lame VAC or cheat detection?
This game really should not have anything like that but was curious.
TIA

As far as I know, the co-op saves and main data are stored completely on the hosting player's PC and there shouldn't be any anti-cheat. Clients attempting to edit things may suffer a desyncronization, but that's it. Still, I wouldn't cheat in "Arena" or with anyone else than people who agree to it in advance, if I were you.

Cheat Happens does not support or condone the use of cheats in a multiplayer environment. – Friends or not.
