Debug Menu:
While active press F12 ingame to open the debug menu. On the right screen of the debug menu you select the resource you wish to edit. Then on the left screen there is a text box with the name of the resource you selected above. Enter a new value and press on Set to or click on Max to get maximum. Press F12 again to close the menu. You should deactivate this cheat when you are not using the debug menu otherwise you cannot click on dialogues or open the ingame menu.

No Reload:
Press hotkey and you can fire your weapons without a cooldown.
To disable this option you must go back to main menu.

Low Heat When Firing:
Press hotkey and your heat will not increase when firing.
To disable this option you must go back to main menu.

One Hit Kills:
Press hotkey and you do a massive amount of damage when firing.
To disable this option you must go back to main menu.

Fuel Consumption:
Set to 0 and you no longer consume fuel when diving around.

Supply Consumption:
Set to 0 and you no longer consume supplies over time.

Heat Threshold:
Set to 999 and it takes much longer for your heat to have an impact on the game.

Mute Hotkeys:
-------------------------------------------------------
To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer is
activated. You can use CTRL-H to re-activate the Hotkeys as well.
You can also mute specific hotkeys by changing the hotkey you want to mute to NONE.


VR Mode
-------------------------------------------------------
- HTC Vive
Click on the VR Mode button. Trainer options will now be drawn as buttons. Activate the trainer as usual with your keyboard. Put your HTC Vive on and when you are ingame press the Menu button on the hand controllers to open the steam overlay. At the bottom you can click on the Desktop button and you can easily press options on the trainer with your hand controller now.

- Oculus Rift
The oculus rift does not have a desktop mode as of now. You have to use the keyboard or controller hotkeys instead.

Heads up to anyone playing this, the trainer mostly works.
I just tested it and nearly all options worked for me.
Option 2 and 3 acted strange, but all the other ones were fine.

When using the toggle debug menu option i stop being able to select many things and open most menus. Disabling options doesn't fix this.
I hope i have posted this right and it isn't a mistake on my side.

I am also having this happen to me.

Debug was supposed to be removed at launch, maybe the just got round to it for the Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition and it is no longer there anymore.

I can confirm that the debug mode is still in there and working.
However, enabling the debug menu option in the trainer often leads to following ingame behaviour:
+ All click events of most buttons fail.
+ No way to exit to main menu
+ Only Alt+F4 closes the game

I recognized that enabling debug mode sometimes work when you are away from stations, no dialoges are open and you open the options menu before enabling debug mode and pressing F12.
After finishing make sure to shut down debug mode in the trainer again.

Unfortunately that might also fail if f.e. spawned items lead to a dialogue.

This issue seems to need reporting.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I've reported the issue as well, but just wanted to confirm that I'm seeing the same things. Open the debug menu in port, and suddenly most buttons just stop working. Even after undocking, I then can't open options menu, chart, etc. If someone else can get a third report in, I'd be happy to boost.
