Loading Times on XCOM 2: War of the Chosen PC Message Board - Page 1

Well this is a pleasant surprise for me. I noticed as soon as I started playing the expansion yesterday that mission load times were much shorter. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, I load pretty much instantly. I actually have to wait for Bradford to stop talking now, since I like the immersive experience. If I click continue and cut him off it breaks the immersion for me.

It's a feature of the expansion. The developers said they improved how the game loads assets etc. and thus loading times are shorter. A welcomed change.

Loading times get longer with more mods installed. Still a lot faster than vanilla though.

ok shorter loading times are always welcome but have they fixed the crash to desktop bug yet? the one that was introduced in shen's last gift where if you got close to any civilians it would instantly lead to a CTD

Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

Quite a lot. Almost practically all the WOTC mods out right now.
