Note that the game you can also use the console to do things like add engineers and etc.

In Steam, add the following to PROPERTIES then GENERAL then LAUNCH OPTIONS section:

-allowconsole -log -autodebug

You can then open the console with the tilde key then enter many commands making your soldiers invincible, skipping AI turn, unlimited actions, and giving resources, scientists, and engineers:

Level:
Note that if you want to affect the unit completely, you should modify all three locations, like Health 1, 2, and 3 to lock the new value in.

Max Level is 7. Modifying this you can then PROMOTE the unit. Probably best not to lower level once you PROMOTE a unit.

Mute Hotkeys:
-------------------------------------------------------
To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer is
activated. You can use CTRL-H to re-activate the Hotkeys as well.
You can also mute specific hotkeys by changing the hotkey you want to mute to 'NONE'.
