Hellblade: Senua´s Sacrifice Message Board  

Hi guys! From this review, I read that dying too much, will trigger the game to purposely delete your save file. Apparently, it's due to the protag's corruption curse or some such, that will cause eventual death if accelerated. One problem is, it isn't always very clear to the player, when that might happen. Considering that it isn't an instant delete when death occurs, unlike in rogue-like games. You are allowed some "deaths", within a certain treshold.

There is also only 1 save slot, from what I hear.

Thought it might be something interesting to take note of, for the creation of trainer features.

Not a problem on PC. Just backup you savegame from time to time and revert back if you died.

You can see the corruption on your body btw.

with the trainer, you won't die. You can't even be hit by the enemy. Enjoy

I'm not sure if its just that I'm in a pretty good distance, but i noticed in the blind trial, i fell twice at the skinny beam where you walk over the weird leg monster. Both times the rot grew more and is at my shoulder now? So I'm not sure it is a bluff about perma dying? Anyone have any comments please let me know.
