So... this morning I got the Trainer Manager running and got the notification that there was an update to one of my trainers. All well and good thus far.
The game? Dead Rising 3. Which was last updated in June. Great! I wasn't aware that a new version of the game came out requiring an update to the trainer, but I may have missed it.
I go and download the latest version showing and it turns out that June's update is the latest version showing. But I still download it because, hey, maybe I'm just being dense this morning.
10 minutes later, I get the update notice from the Trainer Manager again. Dead Rising 3 needs to be updated.
My conclusion/feedback/whatever: I think either that however the Trainer Manager detects a new version is broken (at least for this game) or it's picking up something that is in the queue to release that hasn't yet been put out.

We will be looking into this. Thank you for letting us know.
Good for health, bad for education.

This is because Caliber sent me the wrong file with a recent trainer. Please PM him to have the correct file sent and the DR3 one corrected.
