ran the trainer and it said there was an update available.
clicked the link and it sent me to the seige of centauri page.
went to the Battletech page and saw the HF veraion available.
downloaded it but when i load it it come up with just the R version with a trainer update available.
bit weird. not sure if there is something i've missed.

Downloaded new (1.7.0-589R HF) Trainer... loaded it up, and it says version number is 1.7.0-589R (no HF), and reports that a new version is available...
Looks like there's a few linkage issues, both within the trainer and to the new version on the website itself...

Apologies PWizard, your post wasn't there when I started typing my reply...
I went through the full download process again while I was typing up my post to be sure I hadn't made a mistake originally.
As noted in my edit above, I have sent a PM to Calibre.
new trainer will be posted.
For the record, I detest this game. It's programmed in a haphazard and frankly ridiculous mish mash of copy paste and obviously newb coding to Unity. The developers clearly had no idea what they were doing and were learning how to work with unity as they went, which is why it went through 100 iterations, to and from and back again to 64 bit, and many rewrites. I almost retired it as I am frankly just sick of working on it, and it's never going to run right or be completed properly. NOw I am sure many of you enjoy the game, and you don't deal with it from my perspective. But I had to start completely over on it yet again last time and as I am coding it I have to actually code failsafes and etc. in to take care of coding mishaps that the developers have left in that will crash the game if you do the cheats. I inadvertently put the wrong title ID in the trainer so it's fixed now and PWIZ will post soon

Thank you for your hard work, Cal. That's why we love you, bb.
Sorry if this is sounding like a broken record, but the trainer is causing the game to crash repeatedly. Using this trainer, I'm unable to complete almost any single objective of a given match without the game executable crashing. The super speed cheat errors in the trainer immediately on activation too.
You need to run the trainer as an administrator.
