I know Monster hunter world does not come out for almost another year but I wanted to at least put up a board talking about which basic cheats we would like based on older Monster hunter games,

    1. Infinite Health
    2. Infinite Stamina
    3. Infinite Items (Potions, flash bombs, etc)
    4. Easy crafting and Easy Upgrade for weapons armor etc
    5. Infinite ammo for gunners (Which may fall under infinite items)

If anyone can think of any others please post them and when we get more information about the game we can request more advanced cheats.

I'm definitely hoping for a good trainer for this game when it's out. Man, it's going to be such a hard wait. lol

Infinite Health and Stamina are definitely going to be key cheats needed.

With items, it would be handy, perhaps more of a "item not used up when activated" type of cheat instead of "infinite". If possible that might work better, considering how the games tend to deal with inventory space and all.

Perhaps a "increased drop rate" cheat if possible? Everything that drops comes off a weighted list (everything has X% chance of dropping), maybe something that changes the weights so that we get 100% drop rate for each item? Would definitely make plate/gem farming far easier.

We'd also need an infinite sharpness cheat, so that we wouldn't have to worry about sharpening our weapons.

We don't know how weapons and armour are being handled with this game. For most of them, all gear basically just has set stats. But with the last one, we could find relic gear that had randomized (within ranges) stats, which allowed players to hack "perfect" weapons. We couldn't edit the base gear (as the stats on those were static and just part of the gear), but with the relics we could ensure that they always rolled the best possible stats, which was awesome.

Also, some sort of cheat for infinite mission time would definitely help. Especially for those times when we get greedy and want to chase after non-target monsters. lol

I just hope when the retail version comes out it lets you play singleplayer without internet like verifying dlcs and stuff.

There is a single-player version of the game, if that's what you're talking about. If you're talking about legitimately NOT being online, as in zero connectivity at all, HAHAHAHAHA good luck with that buddy. Almost everything requires a verification online nowadays.

As for cheats, the ones I'm looking most forward to:

    Infinite HP/Stam, obviously
    Rapid Fire for Bowgun
    Infinite Ammo/Items/Item Use
Wyvern HP tracking (has been possible on PSP and Wii at least)
    Stop timer
    One hit breaks
    Max sharpness
Max items on pickup/max items in storage

Pulling the ethernet cord out of my ps4 still allowed me to play the game so offline trainers should be available

Yeah, World is totally playable offline.
You only need a connection for actual multiplayer (duh) and if you want to get login bonuses.

So single player cheats shouldn't be an issue.

Since it's not actually released on PC yet, you can't be 100% sure it will be offline and able to use a trainer. Jumping to conclusions often leads to disappointment so just wait and see.

Well, it's out on PC in August. And the PC version is using Denuvo (bleh). But it will apparently only need to be online once in a while for the Denuvo check, but once the game's "authorized" you should be able to start it offline (at least until the next time Denuvo wants to make sure you're not pirating the game you've clearly bought).

But as far as is understood, just like the console version the game is playable offline.
As for the actual online play on consoles, the game basically just checks for content when you start up. The actual multiplayer content doesn't happen unless a player specifically goes into a multiplayer lobby or sets their hunt to be online.

So you can play with a connection to make sure you get any free goodies, but still play the game completely solo. And from what's been said in the interviews and such, it seems it will be no different for the PC version.
