To those of you passing on this game ,you're not missing out. All 3 endings, the good, the bad, and the "hidden" ending, are absolute garbage. The ending to Mass Effect 3 was better, and reflected your choices from the game more. No matter what you choose, no matter who you save, no matter how many outposts you liberate or collectables you find, you are screwed in the end.
This is a massive in-your-face from Ubisoft.

You didn't understand the endings then.
Are we really in a timeframe where children don't have the time or patience to actually play a game where they have to stop and listen to radio broadcasts or NOT skip cutscenes or actually listen to resistance leaders?
I mean.. everything was very well-explained about things before the ending. I fully expected what happened and it was very thought evoking that he knew and still didn't kill you early-on.
Anyway... it's sad that an ending that wasn't spoon-fed to people isn't well accepted these days.

No, what upset me was that everything you do has next to no effect on how the game ends. Everything was for nothing. The best ending is to simply not play the game. Literally. And even then, you are threatened with possible arrest for not handcuffing Father.
I get it, I get it. It's supposed to be like some Greek tradgey with no happy ending. But don't lead on that you are actually having some effect of the game, then sweep your legs out from under you with some Deux Ex Machina bullstuff at the end.
Also, I'm a 37-year-old veteran, not a child. I've seen, and been in, a fair share of global politics, and tend to keep up-to-date on recent events. And I didn't know you could actually skip cutscenes in the game. I just went along with the ham-fisted "kidnapping" sequences. 😉

I’m a old gamer myself and ever since ME3 I have come to enjoy the journey of a game compared to the end. The ending really isn’t as important as the journey it takes to get there.
