That is very likely the reason. Comodo is known to prevent my trainers (and also CoSMOS) from starting. And sadly the only solution is to uninstall Comodo because even if you turn everything off it's still blocked, tested a while ago on a fresh virtual machine with only Commodo installed.
So you can either uninstall Comodo, reboot and use CoSMOS and another AV, or contact Comodo and try to find a solution.
