I need to ask what are you using with the game. Because I have done a fresh install and not using beta. The options are working fine from what I have found for while playing for over an hour.

So any workshop items any mods not from there. Are you using Edge Beta of the game?

For older trainers that are not on Aurora you need some older versions of .net core.

.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x64: Link
.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x86: Link
.NET Core Runtime x64: Link
.NET Core Runtime x86: Link

You would need all 4 of these, and you might have to clear any other versions you have.
That should work.
You can also use your RC to request a move of the trainer to Aurora, that saves having to deal with .net core.

You can try and see if it works with them installed, while still getting those 4 I linked.
If it doesn't work, then just uninstall them.
