Weird issue here:
I moved my GRWL installation and now, when I try to launch the trainer, it isn't able to find the game .exe
I've tried to clear cache, restart my PC, cleared the works folder.. nothing helps, it still tries to open the old .exe file.
I've launched the game successfully after I did the move, but so far no luck.
any suggestions?
I’ve fixed it by changing the installdir value on the uninstall registry tree for the game.
It was still showing the older location, for some reason, even though I had used steam’s own move installation feature.
Go figure.
My best guess is that Steam doesn't forward the new install location to Uplay properly hence the confusion.
I would agree, but:
this is the Registry key: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Steam App 460930
and this is the sub-key: InstallLocation
even the uninstall string has steam all over it.
my best guess is that steam does a poor job when moving installation using it's embedded features. I would understand if it was moved externally..
anyway, it's working now
After reading the issue, mine is somewhat different.
I can get into the game, I can even play, but the issue I'm having is that the game says "Online Services Unavailable" and gives me an "Uyuni-00052" error.
Ubisoft issue, contact their support.
Link
What also may work is changing the language of Uplay, then putting it back to english. Works for most people on their forums, have no idea why.
Thanks. Will try that.
any luck with this issue?
mine was working fine up until yesterday.. and then it started to give me the "Uyuni-00052" error message.
I've tried to change the language on my uplay, tried to re-install uplay and all that.. re-installed EAC.. nothing..
the game launches but I can't get online..
Numpad 8: Set Supplies
Set supplies option do not work if you have a maxed character already, hovering over the skill blocks only give you the supplies for the medical icon.
Other than that thank you for bringing back support for this trainer!

Yeah, I just did a request for update on that too. Once you start Tier One stuff, the supply requirements to do weapon upgrades is insane. Not being able to use the "set supply" option is a pain.
I'm sure he can fix it though or give us a blanket "set all supplies" button or a "free tier damage upgrade" button maybe? We'll see.
Just going into skills and highlighting the skill with the first required resourse, gave me that resourse, eg
need med, find skill with med as first needed resource, put the box around it and activate the options. (may have to leave the menu and activate.
This seemed to always work for me.
I don't think you understood what the problem is. Go ahead try this on a "MAX" character, it only gives Medical supplies for everything, regardless of what skill you highlight.
I was told to leave a message here as to why the trainer wasn't working properly.
The option to set the number of supplies isn't working once you have all the skills.
I've tried hovering over various skills and hitting it and it doesn't do anything. Granted, none of the skills actually NEED any supplies to be upgraded since they are maxed out.
For the Tier-one weapon upgrades you need a TON of supplies, so that's why you still need them even after you get all the skills maxed out.
Either way, it doesn't function anymore after that level of progression in the game.
Start new game, give yourself plenty of resources before maxing out all skills then your gravy.
Lame solution, you asking people to beat the whole game again? Do you know people have to beat the story mode to get to Tier 1 right? Let's stop beating around the bush and report this as a problem and trainer need to offer set all skills as an option.
