Fellow user deathcrew9 got it working after he uninstalled and installed the game again (after a couple of times). No joke and sadly true.

We went through this in support.

I would think it is a bit unreasonable to expect this to be an acceptable solution to the problem. He did mention that he uninstalled it twice in his OP, both through STEAM and UPLAY, and it was unsuccessful then which resulted him posting here.

How many times did he actually uninstall it and reinstall it before it decided to work? This is a 60GB+ game. Surely we can find a better solution than simply suggesting users to uninstall / reinstall until it works.

Taursplopp is giving his time voluntarily and sharing what has worked for some members. Likely, as in most of these cases, the entire problem is on the user's end, generally with a versioning, install, antivirus, or some unique thing that is blocking or otherwise causing the trainer to not work. Keep in mind this is not a normal game with a normal trainer solution, as the game has EAC and is actively trying to keep you from being able to do things to the game you normally want to do to games or software you purchased and are running on your own machine.

With that said, we've had dozens of people complaining, only to find the trainer isn't at fault and it's some other issue.

There is no good or bad solution. Only the solution that works for your specific problem. The problem ACTUALLY is that GRW has this eac anticheat in it, so divert your anger to the correct place, as we are doing all we can to try and give you a working trainer for this troublesome title to begin with.

. So in short, we've done all we can and have suggested all we can suggest for this title. Yelling at site volunteers who actually ARE helping people in many cases is not helpful..

    best,
    Cal

Toursplopp shared what worked for one individual that him and this user went through specifically via support.

In addition I, too, am giving my time voluntarily and sharing information with the developers of this trainer that points to a potential problem as a result of using the latest version of it. Am I saying it will happen to everyone? No. I'm saying this happened to me - and obviously someone else - and I figured the devs would want to know of it.

The fault in this case is not on my end. Of the few trainers I've used, including this one, I've yet to have issues following the supplied instructions and using your releases. I've even stated, multiple times in this very thread, that your trainer works as intended. Nothing is wrong with the trainer itself. The issue is, after I used it, the game did not want to connect to the Ubisoft servers when I tried to play online without the trainer. The previous version of the trainer did not have this problem. The latest update did.

Furthermore, I am not yelling. Tone is almost impossible to interpret in written text over a forum. I am simply speaking in in a matter-of-fact tone. Straight forward, to the point, whatever you want to call it.

At the end of the day, I did find a solution after trying all the ones previously mentioned and even the ones suggested afterwards. I did a clean wipe of the entire PC. Format of the HDD it was installed to, new partitions on the SSD, completely fresh installation of the OS, the whole nine. Once completely updated and ready to go, I installed UPLAY and GRW. As you already know, there were no issues. It connected to the Ubisoft servers just fine. This only solidifies the fact that the connection problem was a result of using your latest trainer.

I sincerely appreciate the efforts made by you and Toursplopp and hold no ill feelings toward either of you. I simply wanted to let the makers of the trainer aware of a potential problem with their latest update. What you all do with this information is up to you. I wish y'all the best of luck.

Hello I am a huge fan of your trainers and I have a question. This trainer has an option for set resources by hovering the mouse over the resource and pressing number pad 8 in the skills menu. It works like a charm, however now that i have upgraded all my skills I cannot add anymore resources because their is no resources to "mouse over" in the skills menu. Is their any way you could add that option in another way so I can add resources without having to use the skills menu?

Edit: In Tier One mode you need resources to upgrade weapons. Could you possibly use that to get the value? In fact I have tried this and it does work, but only for the food supplies. Thanks again.

This one have been replied to already:

"I was told to leave a message here as to why the trainer wasn't working properly.

The option to set the number of supplies isn't working once you have all the skills.

I've tried hovering over various skills and hitting it and it doesn't do anything. Granted, none of the skills actually NEED any supplies to be upgraded since they are maxed out.

For the Tier-one weapon upgrades you need a TON of supplies, so that's why you still need them even after you get all the skills maxed out.

Either way, it doesn't function anymore after that level of progression in the game."

"the way I got around it was to go to the upgrade damage for Tier One mode and hit the option then back out and go in, boom, supplies"

    Hope it help 🙂
