running updated trainer crashes game. old trainer worked fine. Now no matter what I do, disable LAN adapter, remove CAT5 cable, hitting F1 for trainer crashes game to desktop, trainer stays running. Tried everything in trainer notes. Any suggestions?

"Run the trainer and disconnect from the Internet right after and before you load UPlay or game. If the game or even UPlay is running while internet connected it will crash to desktop. Steam can be online as it seems to have no effect. Uplay will ask you to log in since no internet, just tell it to restart in offline mode all the time and skip the achievement sync. Then use the trainer normally.

ALTERNATE:

1) internet is on
2) run trainer
3) internet off
4) run game
5) uplay in offline mode
6) while at main menu, close Uplay (may have to FORCE CLOSE)
7) activate trainer where you can Continue Campaign"


tried all this 3 times. I go to task manager and force close uplay. Run trainer from main mneu, campaign menu, in campaign, all cause game to crash to desktop, yet trainer says activated and stays running.

I have no suggestions, other than what we said which is to put everything in offline mode, run trainer, disconnect inet, run steam, run game, while at main menu turn off UPLAY (exit), then activated. Works pretty dependably here.

We own the game on steam, but it runs uplay in the background, which I shut off once the game is going.

Uplay CANNOT be loaded or even running prior to to internet off, even if it is in offline mode.
