I don't write posts much. Never really experienced a trainer not working for me. Always found a work-around. How-ever Can not get this trainer to work for me. Been a good few years since playing this game. I'm no noob' been CH member 12 years.
Have done all the Read=me has instructed..
Still Trainer say's 'Can not Fibd Game' ?
Trainer & Game are same Version. 4792145. (steam)
placed the file: rungame.exe into my steam/steamapps/common/wildlands Folder,.
Ran game without trainer ofc works fine.
Both my steam and Ubisoft are in 'Offline mode'
The basic's: AVG are deactivated (always my first prio to do)
If some lovely person can help me get this working again' (long time ago it worked without this issue) Would appreciate it allot.
Only just installed the game fresh' after 4 years.
I just tested this and it's working as intended. Here's what I did. (Was going to post a video, but I'm having issues recording.)
1. Install and run the game one time.
2. DL & extract the trainer and rungame.exe
3. Open local file location for game. I'm just using Ubisoft Connect here, so it was in DRIVE:/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/games/Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands/
4. Drop rungame.exe into the local files directory, overwriting the file in that location.
5. Start trainer & game
6. Activate trainer at Main Menu. Works like a charm.
One thing you may want to do is verify the local files location in Ubisoft Connect. Odds are it's the same as Steam shows, but you never know. Never hurts to verify that you're putting the rungame.exe in the correct place. Hopefully this was some help. If not, I'm sure we can figure it out.
With all that you have said, your still running Ubisoft&steam ect, in Offline mode?
also are you unplugging your internet/Wifi, ?

Also i just wish to check i am placing the rungame.exe into correct location?
Inside my Steam/steam-apps/common/wildlands Folder. I see there is a rungame.exe in there already so i am guessing i am overwritting that file.. ?

One thing to note i am using a Laptop, and unlike PC, Thsi game does not allwo me to minimize the Screen. So if i load the Trainer first, It is in the background i can't alt-Tab, or Alt-enter, to it. Not sure if that has any impact on the situation.
No, I'm not running Steam or Uplay in offline mode or unplugging my internet. I've never needed to do that with this game since it will go into offline mode when using the trainer. Yes, if it asks you to overwrite the file, you're probably putting it in the correct place.
Hi,
Kaspersky has detected "VHO:Trojan-Spy.Win32.KeyLogger.ccay" when I try to run this trainer. I'm also playing AC Origins and I can run that trainer fine so I'm not sure what's happening here?
Thanks
Your antivirus or security product is falsely identifying our trainer or DRM as a virus or Trojan. All of our files are 100% safe and it is typical for some security products to block trainer injections. Please see our antivirus warning page for more information. You can either whitelist the trainer in your security product settings, temporarily disable the software or uninstall it and find a product that does not routinely flag our trainers as false positives. Please note that no two trainers are alike. We use different injection methods and security templates all the time. Some or none may be detected and then suddenly one might be. Rest assured these files are safe.
Extract trainer and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used.
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.
If someone is playing this game on Gamepass, does that version actually just install the UPLAY version on your computer? In other words when you run the game it launches uplay and the game runs from there?
It's important to tell me this, because if so, then the game trainer we already have likely already works for Gamepass.
If not, then there will be no Gamepass version since the Gamepass folders cannot be accessed like normal folders.
best,
Cal
Can confirm that gamepass version loads the UBI launcher by default. It will ask you to link your gamepass account with the ubi launcher, and then sign you into the game with your gamepass ID if you don't have an ubi account. This works the same for the EA Games offered on Gamepass. IF you already own the game on UBI, and/or have an ubi account, the best practice would be to load the game via the correct launcher once it has been installed, launching it via xbox app or windows app simply automates the ubi launcher process. That being said, SHOULD the game be loaded via Gamepass launcher, then it will default to the normal uplay functionality of the trainer if an ubi+ sub is not detected.
