Such a bummer. But should you guys retire it, I will definitely understand it. Good thing I made good use of the trainer before this damned patch

I should have read this thread before updating, damn ubi.

I'd be okay if God Mode was the only option, at least everything else is easy enough to get with that. The downside is that I'm not going to switch to win10 just to play one game with a trainer so it may not even matter.

Why do I even buy new games anymore?

Looks like the trainer's status is set to RETIRED - Admins - you may want to get rid of the thread that says "Game unretired"

Might be confusing to any new comers.

Why do you buy UBISOFT new games... is the real question.

Almost all of them have some sort of online component, and purchase stuff in-game on top of your original game purchase, so they are adding malware like rootkit kernel manipulating drivers to prevent you from cheating... and then banning you if you DO cheat, even on single player..

UBISOFT is quickly becoming useless on the PC, where the PC is always been great for mods, trainers, etc.

It's 2 main reasons for me, Mike.

    1) Love 'em or hate 'em, Ubisoft makes some of the most dynamic, beautiful and fun to play games available.2) You and Markus make the best trainers available.

They're the safest and most updated products on the market. Up till recently, they've always been available when the games release.

I'm taking a step back by not buying new games on release, though. I've seen other players doing the same. It saves some money but it gives things a chance to shake out and allow updates to correct problems in new AAA game releases. Lately we have to see if there will be a trainer at all.

As long as CH trainers are available when new AAA games come out, players in general will want them right away to stay part of the current buzz. But if the trend continues like it is now where it's possibly a dangerous legal question, players will be less and less likely to jump on new releases without their trainers and mods.

The point being made is that Ubisoft is actively taking away the player's ability to use single player cheats like this in favor of their own system. This makes it exceptionally difficult to outright infeasible/impossible for users like Caliber to create trainers that users can use. Even if technically possible, Ubisoft makes moves like this where there are legal ramifications which kills off any interest for making them by anyone.

In the point of the latter, the skill level of the developer is irrelevant in that case. Nobody wants to be sued by a prominent video game publisher.

    Sadly true 🙁
